I stayed in a Standard Queen Room at the Comfort Inn West Phoenix and had mixed feelings about my stay. The location next to the I-10 interstate made for a lot of noise, which was a real hassle when trying to sleep. The room itself was decent, clean, and had all the amenities I expected, like free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV. I appreciated the comfortable bed, but the shower control was hard to turn on, which was frustrating. The breakfast left much to be desired. The eggs were unappetizing and the sausage smelled cheap. Hot juice was served, and the pancake mix was too watery. I ended up eating cereal, which was pretty disappointing. Housekeeping was intrusive. despite putting up the 'Do Not Disturb' sign, I had staff knocking on my door very early. Also, cleaning staff seemed to be a bit rude during our exchanges. I felt like the breakfast quality could be improved and the noise from the highway definitely needs addressing, perhaps with better soundproofing. Overall, I enjoyed the room's cleanliness and the staff's politeness, but there are significant areas for improvement.
